LARRY IS…

Larry is the bestselling author of Face-to-Face is The Ultimate Social Media, and founder of Zoka Institute and Zoka Training® – Mind/Voice/Body in sync.

Multi-talented, he combines his experiences of 50 years as a serial entrepreneur in parallel with his simultaneous careers as a radio and television commentator, syndicated columnist, stage and TV actor and director, voice-over artist, and visual artist. Larry was one of the founding members of the Theater Department at Northeastern University. Face-to-Face communication is in his DNA.

He can claim 50 successful years of showing others like you how they can “do what they do best- BETTER!” He is a leading expert in unique in-person, face-to-face communication, presentation, pitching and public speaking skills for Women on the Move, CEOs, fast-track future leaders, entrepreneurs, speakers, political/public and sports figures, attorneys, medical presenters and business development/sales professionals.

LARRY’S JOURNEY…

His unique whole body communication/presentation training program comes from his learning and experience over a 50 year involvement in simultaneous careers as a serial entrepreneur, radio/TV commentator, actor and visual artist.

Larry is a longtime member of SAG (Screen actors Guild) and AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists)- now SAGAFTRA, and former longtime member of AEA (Actors Equity Association). He was a core member of the original professional Actors Ensemble at the Actors Workshop. And has numerous credits as an actor, voice-over artist, stage/TV director, acting teacher/coach and professor. Specializing in character, cartoon and dialect voices Larry has been the voice on several hundred radio and television commercials, industrial audios and videos. He appeared on stage in scores of plays.

As an multi-tasking, out-of-the box, risk taking, serial entrepreneur, Larry Blumsack launched and operated businesses in digital imaging, presentation skills, B2B matchmaking, video production, marketing, sales training, crisis public relations, and gourmet food. He was also longtime member of ACG (Association for Corporate Growth).

As a speaker, consultant, workshop facilitator, seminar leader and coach, he has trained more than 10,000 professionals, entrepreneurs and political leaders how to win/win when face-to-face with their audiences.

As a business-to-business matchmaker – for a decade – he set an average of 100 meetings annually with senior executives in Fortune 1000 companies for his clients, while sharing his successful techniques with business development and sales professionals through seminars, workshops and coaching.

Larry has a business degree from Northeastern University, a Master’s degree in Theater Communications from Emerson College and studied voice at the New England Conservatory of Music. He was a founding member of the Theater Department at Northeastern. The  University honored him with the Outstanding Alumni Award in the Arts.

A radio commentator for 20 years, he was arts Critic-at-Large on WCRB radio, and for several years the host of the hour-long program “Where it’s Art” on WADN radio interviewing world-renown performing and visual artists. As a critic, for over 25 years, he wrote thousands of syndicated columns and criticisms of performances and exhibitions for a number of regional and national print publications.
