Your leadership style sets the company/team culture and determines the bottom line. Your ability to “stand and deliver” is a key factor in having executive presence and charisma. Therefore, you need to discover the dominant voice you have that shapes your personality — and if necessary change it.

Are you a champion, critic, or brat? Your success or failure depends on which personality dominates — which personality is perceived by others.

How many of these qualities do you possess?

• You are flexible
• You solicit feedback, comments and advice
• You know the value proposition
• You believe in relationship building
• You insist on regular scheduled weekly two-way communications with all members of your team, intra and inter-departmental.
• You are not afraid to admit mistakes, lacks, oversights, attitude, guidance, and poor          communications.
• You are consistent
• You establish clearly focused goals and rewards
• You have standards
• You fully support the teams

These are the basic building blocks for your role to become a charismatic leader with executive presence. This is what’s necessary for you to step up to the plate as a leader. The perception of others about you is often based on your voice – vocal qualities.

We all contain the personalities of Champion, Critic and Brat. Your path to success, mediocrity or failure depends on which personality dominates. So, how are you perceived?
